A Simple Bed Net Will Keep Her Malaria-Free

Bed nets keep children in Togo malaria-free

Too many mothers across Togo don't sleep as soundly as they should.

They hear the buzz of malaria-carrying mosquitoes and worry that tonight will be the night that a bite transmits this deadly disease to their child.

Malaria is a leading cause of death of children under five in Togo.  Many more become gravely ill with this disease.

It keeps parents away from the fields or work for weeks sometimes and children miss many days of school each year.

But this is a disease that is preventable.  All is takes is a simple insecticide-treated bed net to give a mother a peaceful night of sleep because she knows that her children are fully protected from deadly malaria.
