One Net Brings a Big Smile

One Net Brings a Big Smile and Protects Children from Malaria

In Madagascar, a child dies every sixty seconds from malaria.  Thousands more become ill each day.

Treating malaria takes enormous resources from the national health budget.

Farmers miss weeks of work in the fields, shopkeepers' stores are closed for days, and children miss school regularly all because of this terrible disease.

Nearly every family in Madagascar suffers in some way because of malaria—a disease that is preventable with a simple insecticide-treated bed net.

That's why children smile so big when they receive bed nets provided by Nothing But Nets supporters.  They know they will be safe from deadly malaria.
