Senegal

All of the Family, All of the Year, All of the Nights

A 2010 universal coverage campaign (one net per sleeping space at the time) funded in part by Nothing But Nets used the following theme:

Toute la famille (All of the family)
Toute l'année (All of the year)
Toutes les nuits (All of the nights)

Insecticide-treated bed nets, when used properly and widely by the community, can help reduce malaria rates by 90%.

Thanks to global efforts to fight malaria, we have seen a 50% reduction in deaths caused by malaria in children under age five.  We are winning the fight against malaria, but we are not done yet.  A simple insecticide-treated bed net sent by generous Nothing But Nets supporters can help a family stay healthy and malaria-free for up to three years.

Nothing But Nets in Senegal

Since 2010, Nothing But Nets has worked to distribute 20,000 bed nets in Senegal with many partners including the NBA, the Gates Foundation and USAID.  Because of this commitment, and the hard work of many partner organizations, 80% of the households in Senegal have bed nets.  In one year malaria infections were reduced by 41%.
